Community is where we apply God's truth to our lives.
When Paul encourages the Philippians to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, it is addressed to the community, not to individuals. When He urges the Romans to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship, it's a communal exhortation.
Community groups are a mix of age, gender, marital status, and spiritual maturity, coming together to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
