Advent at Eternal Kids - Special Kickoff
Upcoming Dates
Details
Parents,
The first Sunday of Advent—November 30—is almost here! We wanted to share an important update about our kids programming for that morning (this Sunday!).
Because it’s a fifth Sunday, our original plan was to celebrate it as a Family Sunday.
However, as we’ve prepared for our Advent series, Waiting for the King, we realized how important this first week is for helping kids understand the full story they’ve been learning throughout November.
All month long, kids have been walking through The Crown Chronicles, exploring Israel’s longing for a perfect king and discovering that no earthly king could ever truly lead them. Advent is where that story comes together beautifully: Jesus is the King they’ve been waiting for.
To help kids make this meaningful connection, Eternal Kids will only be offered at the 9:00 am service. The 10:45 am service will remain a Family Sunday, where there will be no kids programming, and we invite families to attend the main worship service together*. *Kids Activity Books will be available for your children, and the Student Center will be open if you need to step out with your little ones.
We’re excited for the opportunity to help children enter Advent with wonder and joy as they see how everything points to the birth of Jesus.
Thank you for partnering with us in helping your children grow in faith!
